Cy Endfield's 1964 film. In January 1879, hours after the British disaster at Isandlwana, some hundred and fifty soldiers at the tiny mission station of Rorke's Drift in Natal learn that four thousand Zulu warriors are marching on them. Barricading the outpost with mealie bags and biscuit boxes, the vastly outnumbered garrison fights through a day and a night in one of history's most famous last stands.
